Start Your Business
Over the next couple of weeks, I will be discussing with you about how to grow your Instagram and the necessary steps to keep your following growing at all times. Sounds good right?!
So many people jump head first on social media, especially Instagram without taking the time to actually research and understand each step that is needed to make sure they are successful on the Instagram platform.
Let’s face it, working that 9-5 just isn’t cutting it anymore. The stress of spending long hours traveling to and from work just to get home and be too tired to do anything on your to-do list, just doesn’t seem fair.
If you’re new to the blogging world and have been doing a little research, you may have heard the word niche before. I have had several clients ask, what the heck is a niche and do I really need one. Since I have explained this several times, I thought this would be a great blog to write about and help everyone that may be confused about this entire “niche” ordeal.
Picture it (in Sophia voice)…you just found out that your favorite show is now on Netflix and you can beige watch it all day.
You just stocked up on popcorn and wine (thanks to Olivia Pope) and you can spend the day to Netflix and chill.
But you just remembered you have a list of things that need to be done that you haven’t started. Your schedule is pretty clear so you have the option to make it happen or mellow out.
When people use the word slimy I immediately think of some gross, slick, green substances.
Don’t really know why I think green but everything from my childhood tells me that slim is supposed to be green. Maybe it was the influx of games shows, I digress.
We tell ourselves a lot of things whether they are true or not. Tell me does this sound familiar:
“I want to start my own business but I would be soooo embarrassed if it wasn’t successful”
“People would totally see me as a failure and laugh at me”
“I don’t have what it takes to run a business”
“Who do I think I am? I’m no expert. I would totally fail”
If you can relate to any of these statements or anything closely related to what it is saying, then this post is for you.
Forget Orange, side hustle is the new black. Everybody has one or wants one and to be honest who wouldn’t?
Seriously, not only does it give you another source of income but it also allows you to be as creative as you might not get a chance to be in your everyday 9-5.
Marketing, Marketing, Marketing!
It’s the modern day Marsha of the Brady Bunch because everyone loves to talk about it. Marketing is the driving force of our business and how people learn about our awesomeness.
I think that’s why so many people go into overload when they begin to think about marketing. They think, I need more followers, I need more signs, I need more ads, I need more social media, I need more, more, more.
Collaborating and networking is single-handedly the number one way to grow your business.
Like most financalfreepreneurs -just came up with that one, I’m digging it, I knew and thought that what I was doing was enough to increase my sells but um, can we reference the two failed “official” businesses and countless other joint ventures.
What I thought I was doing, was far from collaborating and networking. I was merely scratching the surface and not even that.
